ITXL was founded in 1999 as a web business, and became the backbone of everything we have done online for more than two decades.
From the start we ran our own servers, registered and managed domains, and built websites for clients, working out how to make the internet useful for businesses long before most people even had broadband. Hosting, design, development, SEO, e-commerce: we did it all, often before there were established playbooks for any of it.
That hands-on experience across every layer of the internet business, from the server rack to the sales page, is what gives the company its foundation. We are not writing about theories. We build, break, rebuild and refine real systems, year after year.
Over the years ITXL has worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes, helping owners understand what they actually need online: not the most expensive solution or the trendiest tool, but the right thing for where they are. Our work has spanned the UK and clients internationally, including bespoke management systems for a US publishing group.
Beyond commercial projects, ITXL has provided technology and support for charitable and humanitarian causes. We have assisted with the technology behind an animal anti-cruelty foundation, an orphanage, and a community sports and holiday facility in Africa, and supported the purchase of thousands of hectares of African land set aside as a safe zone for animals in perpetuity. We have partnered with charities working against animal cruelty in several countries, from the UK to Nepal, India, Africa and beyond.
Astral Print & Media is an imprint of ITXL LTD, under which we publish written work, including the book BOOM.
